October 16th is the big day at McGill, the prestigious Montreal university that will confer an honourary degree on President William Clinton.
Fark.com comments that the honourary degree comes with a lifetime supply of poutine, a stripper of his choice and one free drink at The Village (good Monday to Thursday, 4-6 pm).
Ironically, reports the Canadian Press, President Clinton will make the trip just before another ex-president heads to Montreal. His successor, George W. Bush, will deliver a speech several days later at the city’s Queen Elizabeth hotel.
