1030...From Susan Delacourt

Her blog on thestar.com [that is the Toronto Star] starts off today with this:

Michael Ignatieff has confirmed Liberal plans to go ahead with a "thinkers' conference" in Montreal from Jan. 14-16. He didn't say much beyond those sparse facts during a scrum with reporters in Vancouver yesterday.

The comments that follow on her blog, well two of the three [if I were spin meister Barry McLoughlin I would write that 67 per cent were not positive; I am not he] are not very kind to either the party or the next Prime Minister of Canada.

I have to agree with the negative comments. Someone should tell Mr. Ignatieff that pretty girls don't have to be told that they are pretty. And they don't need to be continually reassured how pretty they are.

Instead of sitting around Hy's talking about how smart they are and how dumb they are the next Prime Minister's team should go to The Legion or Tim's, there is one just down the street from Hy's, and find out what the Carrie's of the world have to say.

It is about getting elected, no?
