This weekend hoop on the campus of the world's 346th best university, Carleton, when the Hog's Back High Raven's, defending national champeens doncha know? open their season with the House-Laughton Basketball tourney.
In the mix this weekend are the Ravens who will be hosting Bishop's University, the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Prince Edward Island. The UPEI team is of particular interest in that its star player is an Ottawan, Manock Lual.
The tourney consists of 3 doubleheaders. The first two are at six o'clock Friday and Saturday evening; the final one is Sunday at noon. Carleton plays the second game of all three doubles.
Look for me in my red sombrero, with black accents.
