Considering the fact that there are tons of voters who have ties to Jamaica, especially in 416, 905 and 519, this is not good. Not good at all.
John Rapley is president of the Caribbean Policy Research Institute (CaPRI), an independent research think tank affiliated to the University of the West Indies, Mona. President Rapley sums up his view of the Liberal Party of Canada by ending his piece with this:
"The Conservatives have not made significant inroads into French Canada, which means they cannot form a government with a national basis. The Liberals may have a greater chance of doing this. But for now, they look marginal and inept."
Not good.
