5719...Sh*t Is Getting Seriouser In MTL

Cut and paste from Global Montreal:

MONTREAL - According to reports, a City of Montreal employee took his own life only a few hours after meeting with the Sûreté du Québec.

The former head of the licensing division in NDG was apparently interrogated at length on Friday by detectives from Quebec’s anti-corruption unit. The following day, he was found dead in his home by family members.

An NDG borough spokesperson has confirmed that the employee's colleagues were informed of his suicide on Monday morning but have no further comment on the subject.

"We are shocked and deeply saddened by the suicide of a Côtes-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grâce employee," said the Projet Montreal in a press release. "We wish to express our sympathies to the family."
