I stand corrected. Former NBC news anchor is what I should have written. That, of course, is Peter Kent, who used to be a journalist and, one would presume, was in favour of freedom of speech.
Things be different now.
Mr. Kent is now Honourable as in the Honourable Minister of the Environment and he has determined that free speech is a dangerous thing.
Speaking fluent newspeak Mr. Kent told the Commons Monday that it is important that scientists working in his department should stfu. He was a tad more eloquent but a rose is a rose is a rose.
Dr. Goebbels would be proud of you Mr. Kent.
