The Brantford Expositor tells us that Gord Paynter got the hole in one at that town's North-Ridge Public Golf Course in August of '99.
He died Monday.
Frankly I don't think the two are related.
I had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Paynter on the stage where he was pretty funny and off the stage where he was incredibly funny.
He will be missed.
