2084...Carleton Disease Hits Major League Ball

Flip back to WFDS Post 2051...You Don't Get To Be Canada's 46th Best a post that told how my beloved alma mater has a bit of a problem with spelling Univesity, er, Uneversedy, uh, Uni...wtf...you know the word.

Apparently the Carleton Disease has moved south and west. David Brown writes in Big League Chew that Majestic, who makes uniforms for the Giants of the National League need a spell checker. Last year they mispelt Nationals, forgetting the 'o' in the Washington team's name, a few years ago they had the name Angles on the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim's jerseys and last week when Giants reserve Eugenio Velez took the field for a double switch in the seventh inning at Houston on Wednesday night, he apparently had no idea his road grays read: "San Francicso."

Hope they get cash up front.
