That is what Judge John Douglas told former Prince Edward Island Rocket, they play in the QMJHL, Chris Doyle yesterday, acquitting the former skater of assault.
QMI Agency says that Mr. Doyle, who the Rangers drafted 141st overall back in '08 and played four years with the Rockets and this year with Victoriaville, was found not guilty of assault after drunkenly punching a door that struck a woman in the face and broke her nose.
According to a CBC report the enraged stickman barged into his ex girly girl's apartment in the capital city of the Honourable Helena Guergis' fave province looking for the elusive other man. He then left at the urging of his ex and her roommate but rethunk the situation and punched the door in attempt to get back in their crib. Said door hit said roomie in said face breaking said nose.
Our hero did plead guilty to a mischief charge and will be sentenced on the 7th of June. Hopefully, for him at least, Judge John Douglas will not be on the bench that day.
