The man who would be President of the United States, heaven forbid, Mitt Romney, told Soledad O'Brien on CNN that "...he's not concerned about the very poor..."
Sounds a lot like what the Ontario Tories believe.
I recall in the run up to the Oct '11 election interviewing a Conservative insider [and personal friend of mine] Blake Batson who essentially said the same when chatting with the WFDS on 93.1 CKCU in Ottawa.
Apparently the very poor are well taken care of with public housing [dangerous, long waiting lists], health care [virtually non existent except for emergency care in the States], dental care [what's that?] and, of course lots of free time.
The best part of the poor of course is that they have the good grace to die early than the rest of us.
