Besides the obvious, overkill during an election that was in the bag, they have some other stuff in common too.

Richard Nixon loved football; an actual play he devised was used by George Allen's NFL Washington Redskins back in the early '70s. I believe it was a loss but they still used it. Stephen Harper loves hockey; he is allegedly writing a book about our national sport.
They both married blondes.
They were both pro American.
