Out of the ten, two are from our home and native land!
The number five most annoying fan base is from the home of the Winter Olympics next year, Vancouver, and it is the Canucks. Spike writes that "It’s remarkable how arrogant the fan base of a team with zero Stanley Cups, no Hall of Fame players, and two homoerotic Swedish twins that seem physically afraid of the playoffs can act. It’s literally mind-boggling!"
True that.
The number nine most annoying fan base is from Montreal. Yes, the nation within a nation is recognized by Spike as having tres annoying fans at Centre Bell booing the Habs out of Stanley Cup contention every year.
Except for this year.
The number one most annoying group of supporters surprisingly was not the Toronto Maple Leafs; it was the Chicago Cubs who, as you know, haven't won a championship since Babe Ruth was in grade school, Mark Twain was the world's best selling living author, TV and radio weren't around, Germany, Austria and Russia had kings, sliced bread was only a dream and on and on.
Still, another slap in the face for Leaf fans like Stephen Harper.
