979...Canada Is Number Four

On the list of the countries in the world when it comes to quality of life.

The annual Human Development Index, unveiled in Bangkok by the UN Development Program and reported world wide by the Associated Press, takes into account life expectancy, literacy, school enrollment and per capita gross domestic product in 182 countries. The country where it was unveiled, Thailand, was 87th in the world.

Bear in mind though that the number 3 country was Iceland, seriously, Iceland. The Yanks were 13th.

Norway and Australia finished a one and a two.
