"Cut rate snooze inducing third rate bore" is what the USA Today had to say about the new Jay Leno Show on NBC, a program that is, sorry, was to redefine how over the air TV networks were going to program and generate revenues.
Quoting Appleton, Wisconsin's WVBO's Rich Allen, the program has been entirely revamped from the late night Tonight Show that Mr. Leno hosted for almost two decades.

John Doyle in the Globe and Mail this morning also savaged the program. Mr. Doyle says the 17.7 million viewers that Mr. Leno got opening night will not be replicated. That was the nicest thing Mr. Doyle had to say about the show.
