You may have heard of him. He is the Member of Parliament for Outremont, a fancy and schmancy neighbourhood in Montreal. An area that now that I think of it has a lot of Jews who wear their yarmulkes and other religious stuff when they are working. And who won't be allowed to do so if the new Premier of La Belle, Pauline Marois, has her way after winning this week's elex.
He, this Mulcair lad, is also the leader of the number uno federal party in Quebec, the NDP.
One would think that Thomas Mulcair would have a wee stake in the upcoming election considering the above facts. Plus he was a cabinet minister with the current Preem, Jean Charest.
