Jim Flaherty. Somebody. Help.
This SOS is coming from Oshawa, Sam McLauglin's hometown, that just got kicked in the teeth again.
The Globe and Mail reports that"...The Canadian Auto Workers union received official notice Friday that GM will begin shutting down its consolidated assembly line in the fourth quarter, which will wipe out 2,000 jobs."
I know Mr. Flaherty says there are no bad jobs and he may be right about that. But I am certain that he will agree with me that there are good jobs and working the line at GM is one of those good jobs. Now there are 2,000 less of them.
