Wow, they don't get much snow in Barack Obama's new home town but when they do, they do.
Reported widely, I saw a piece on this on ESPN, Canal 2 from France and CBC Newsworld, Washington is in the middle of a snow storm that could drop about twenty eight inches on the city. That is about seventy, seventy five centimetres I think. Even if it isn't, it is a lot.
Being Americans they are freaking out, cleaning out grocery stores and generally panicking.
By the way, they are getting a lot of snow but it ain't Winnipeg or Quebec City. The temperature as I write this is twenty seven American which is about minus two Canadian which is what we here in Ottawa call a nice winter day.
And the temps are going to be above zero Canadian starting tomorrow so by this time next week the big ass storm will be a mere memory.
