A man in Barrie, the pleasant little burgh an hour north of the Centre of the Universe, was arrested yesterday for snowblowing while drunk.
I kid you not.
The unidentified 41-year-old man caused traffic mayhem Tuesday during rush hour around 5:30 p.m. in Barrie police Sgt. Robert Allan told the Toronto Star. What our hero was doing was trying to clear a major intersection in Barrie with his hand push snow blower.
The man was arrested and charged with public intoxication and held until he was sober.
