Wait, make that alcohol related news. Ron Artest, the thirty year old failed rapper and self proclaimed greatest defensive basketball player in the NBA told The Sporting News that when he played with the Chicago Bulls, who were unbullievably bad when he was there, he used to keep a bottle of Hennessy cognac in his locker for half time refreshment purposes.
He has backed off on the story a wee bit, telling the Los Angeles Times that the reason he came forward with tales of his drinking to help the youth of America.
Now playing with the Los Angeles Lakers, Mr. Artest is on his zillionth NBA team since leaving St. John's for the league when he was nineteen.
