1397...On The Other Hand

Health Minister Leona Aglukkaq says that the Senate is siding with big companies over consumers by dragging their feet on bill C-6.

"In an interview yesterday with Sun Media, Aglukkaq said Senate committee amendments to the bill, such as requiring a warrant before officials can intervene or watering down requirements to report consumer complaints to the government, will make it tougher for the government to crack down on unsafe products."
