With a team that was rebuilding, Jim Boeheim, the longtime Syracuse University Orange coach, took the squad to the top of the polls, including, for the first time in twenty years, a ranking of number one in the country during the regular season, and in doing so has been named The Sporting News' coach of the year for 2010.
For those of you who care, me I guess, the Big East tournament starts today.
The Orange look like a lock for a number one seed in The Big Dance, which, as I know, starts next week.
