OMG V.2.
As reported everywhere in the Great White North, the Stephen Harpers won and won last night, picking up two seats, one in Montmagny-L'Islet-Kamouraska-Riviere-du-Loup where Bernard Genereux took the seat in a by election, a seat that the Bloc held for a longgggggggggggg time. Les Bleus also triumphed in Nova Scotia's rural riding of Cumberland-Colchester-Musquodoboit Valley with Scott Armstrong being elected.
In Montreal's Hochelaga riding the Bloc Quebecois prevailed and out in Bee Cee it looks like an NDP win in New Westminster-Coquitlam.
The Liberals finished not first or second [trying to spin here] anywhere.
Perfect.
This is not perfect.
WFDS
what do you expect WFDS...the liberals are featuring the idiot warren kinsella as their spokesperson strategist on CYV....what a laugh...signed granny...I watched him in the last two elections of the wonderful Paul Martin and Stephane Dion...running them into the ground...now he is pretending to be a Liberal...it does not work that way.
ReplyDeleteAt some point Quebecers might come to the realization that voting for a party that cannot govern or cannot achieve its ultimate goal of independence is a waste of time.Any guesses as to what there second choice would be?
ReplyDeleteHint: It ain't the Liberals.
All federalists should be happy that the Cons won in Quebec. I would have been thrilled if you Libs, or the NDP somehow pulled out a win in the other one. I'd trade a seperatist for anyone.
ReplyDeleteThe BC and NS ridings panned out as expected.
Good for Canada.
Any time a federalist thumps a separatist in Quebec, is a win for all federalist parties,
ReplyDeleteand Canada.
I hope the Cons and Libs and Dippers will do more of the same in the general election.
What makes me hopeful, is the Cons and Libs are not competing for the same vote, in so many ridings.
