Now one of their lead columnists in the Philiadelphia Inquirer, T. J. Furman, has asked the faithful to throw batteries, D Cells, at former potential Phillie player J. D. Drew when his current team, the BoSox, visit The City of Brotherly Love this season.
Mr. Drew's sin was that during the Clinton adminstration he refused to sign with the Phillies when they drafted him. 1997. Hold a grudge why doncha?
Mr. Furman has backed away from his stance, saying it was just a joke.
