I forgot that Jack Layton was diagnosed with cancer just before Christmas. L. Ian MacDonald from QMI Agency reminded me this morning.
No pity party for the-man-who-would-be-Prime-Minister-if-he-was-the-leader-of-the-Liberals-but-that-will-never-happen. He is just working and trying to do what is right for the NDP and for his country.
Good on him.

ReplyDeleteI am sure that Michael Ignatieff would be enough of a gentleman to admit that Jack Layton is a more than decent man, who has devoted his life to serving his country. On the other hand the support of people like you for Mr. Ignatieff only weakens his position...
Please, for the sake of the Liberal Party, join the Conservatives.
