A new study that was highlighted on the British Psychological Blog finds that "...heavier men are, on average, more likely to be aggressive when drunk than are lighter men." Thankfully the same is not true for heavier women.
Parsed from the Freakonomics Blog, it is reported that the study’s authors believe their findings make sense from an evolutionary perspective because larger men are "...more able than weaker men to inflict costs on others in conflict situations." In other words they can beat your ass if you are smaller than they are.
Presumably, it also makes sense from an evolutionary perspective to avoid the big, drunk guy.
