Is it the HST in Quebec that causes this difference?
A litre of reg at Esso in Ottawa, Bank and Gladstone, 93.6; twenty minutes earlier on the Plateau in Gatineau the Esso has it at 102.4.
That is a difference of about five dollars per fill up.

Here in vancouver, it starts off at 1.08 or 1.09 in the morning and drops a cent or two in the late afternoon and then drops another cent or two in the evening and then is right back to 1.08 or 1.09 the following morning.
ReplyDeleteThe only real variation is sometimes the price will drop and stay down or sometimes the next morning, it has gone up higher than it was the morning before.
This pattern has been going on for at least a couple of years now.
