The groundhogs have spoken.

Their shadows.
At least the three star groundhogs who have popped out of their holes have.
It is widely reported that all three critters, the original Punxsutawney Phil from Pennsylvania, Wiarton Willie in Ontario and Nova Scotia's own Shubenacadie Sam all saw their shadows.
This means we have six more weeks of winter.
