At Yankee Old-Timers' Day, according to Len Berman, restaurateur Elaine Kaufman was mentioned during the moment of silence for those who passed during the last year, but not former Montreal Royal and Montreal Expo announcer Duke Snider.
Mr. Snider of course was a Brooklyn Dodger in the late forties and fifties and the Dodgers and the Yankees = no love lost.
