It was June 5, 1968 when Robert Francis Kennedy won the California primary and virtually ensured himself the Democratic nod for the Presidency.
It was also June 5, 1968 when Sirhan Sirhan ended RFK's run for the office of the President of the United States of America with a volley of bullets from a .22 calibre pistol.
May RFK's eternal soul rest in peace.

91...Happy Cinquo de Mayo
Boy, it seems like only yesterday that Corona was on sale at the SuperC.
Cinquo de Mayo is the Mexican National Holiday for Mexicans living in the United States, i.e., it is not a huge day in Mexico, really only big in the state of Puebla [think of St. Jean Baptiste Day; a huge holiday in Quebec, rien in the ROC] but bigger, huger, massiver in Southern California and other environs that have large Mexican populations.
Cut up some lime and have one for me.
