Gas.
Shell is introducing a new type of gas.
The Ottawa Citizen online indicates that Shell and Ottawa-based Iogen Energy Corp. are partners in a plant that produces 40,000 litres a month of cellulosic ethanol from the non-food portions of plants. Shell and government officials including Transport Minister John Baird, were scheduled to launch the fuel Wednesday at a station on Merivale Road.
This gas will be a blend ofregular gas and 10 per cent cellulosic ethanol. This is the wave of the future and I am willing to wager that Shell and the oil companies will figure out a way to use this as an excuse to raise their prices.
Mr. Baird, instead of telling Toronto to f' off, why don't you tell Big Oil to f' off?
