317...Dalton Does Right Again

I saw this live on CTVNewsThingy and now The Canadian Press has it, Premier Dalton McGuinty says from now on, the government and all its agencies will no longer allow sole-sourced contracts for consulting services.

That is the good news.

But.

The bad news is, in addition, under new rules consultants will not be allowed to bill extra for hospitality, incidental and food expenses.

As someone who has made much of his way through life by urban foraging, I have to say the implication of less free food for moochers such as myself is not a happy thought but, greater good and all that.

At least I liked the show.

Apparently I wasn't paying super close attention.

To anything.

In my defense, I am used to watching sports where, at least on the NFL and NBA broadcasts, the announcers are constantly saying their names and graphics are running below their names indicating who they are.

I guess the audience on CTV News Whatever is a little higher up the food chain than I am.

Both my good friend Anonymous and Reid, who has an eponymous blog, pointed out my numerous errors in reviewing the Tom What's His Name Show on CTV News Whatever.

Take it away Reid:

1. It's now called CTV News Channel.
2. Isn't the 5pm Eastern show on CTV News Channel Tom Clark's, "PowerPlay?"
3. Isn't Tom Kennedy the London bureau chief for CTV News?
