Sorta.
Canwest News Service last week reported that those of us in the Great White North now spend more time on line than watching the flat screen. They were referencing an Ipso Reid poll that says that we are online 18.9 hours a week. TV is only at 16.9 hours per week. This is the first time that the 'net has beat the tube in this race.
Frankly I am suprised that the online numbers aren't hired considering the millions of Canadians who spend most of their working hours parked in front of a computer.
