2048...I Bet It Is Worse In Canada

Reports out of America tell that although TV watching is up and so is consumption of product on the 'net radio is down.

Way down.

Inside Radio reports that "An explosion of entertainment options has resulted in Americans listening to FM and AM radio for an average 18 hours a week, down 18% compared to five years ago. The biggest attrition of listening has been among 12-24 year olds, who are spending five hours less with AM-FM radio each week."

And they have competitive radio and cool talk shows. We have neither. I would be willing to wager that less of us listen to radio in Canuckistan just coz there is less of it here and most of it is tres cookie cutter.
