"The minister of immigration (Jason Kenney) has been discussing these matters with us," Prime Minister Stephen Harper said Thursday as the government ramped up its response to the earthquake disaster.
"That will be something the government will be addressing in the next couple of days," Harper told reporters.
"Our priority right now, as you know, is to get relief efforts, search and rescue in particular, on the ground. That is happening."
Personally I think that we should have open borders and let whomever in who wants to come in. Failing that, this is a commendable move by the Stephen Harpers.
