1644...Stephen Harper To Name Five To Senate

Mr. Elected, Effective Senate is appointing five to the Red Chamber today.

I stayed up all night waiting for the call.

For many K a year I would pull a Mike Duffy and switch teams.

    I am disappointed too I could have used a little extra spending money myself.

    It is refreshing to finally see a party that only got 25% of the vote lose control of the senate.They do not reflect the will of the people.

    Reform of the senate is the way to go. I know that some Liberals and Conservatives agree on this but parliament is way too partisan these days to allow it to happen.
