1373...Not News. And News.

Not news: Drunk lady arrested after driving to police station.

News: She's a cop, showing up for work.

Bonus: Keeping booze in her locker in case the buzz wears off.

Metro.co.uk
has the story of copper Philippa Evans who showed up for work as a police a wee bit disheveled. She compounded things by telling a colleague "I’m still pissed" a recent court hearing was told.

The 42-year-old kept alcohol in her locker, who doesn't really, and sometimes drank cider, which is barely booze, before going on duty.

Officer Evans, who is based in Milton Keynes and lives in Wolverton, Buckinghamshire, has a liquid filled past. She had denied drink-driving in December last year but was found guilty.

She was banned from driving for 20 months and told to pay £905 in fines and costs at Aylesbury magistrates’ court.

Thames Valley Police are holding an internal inquiry.

If it is anything like the internal investigations our RCMP conduct she better get ready to be promoted.

One thing for certain, we know who is going to be organizing the Christmas party this year for the Thames Valley Police.
