5163...It Is Tim Hudak Time Again

Reggie Jackson was nicknamed Mr. October coz he was the man when it came to coming through in big baseball games, the playoffs and The World Series, which are mostly played in early autumn.

Willie Upshaw's nickname was Mr. March coz he tore it up in spring training but not so much during the regular season and definitely not when the chips were down.

Dalton McGuinty, the Premier of Ontario, is the Mr. October of politics; his rival Tim Hudak, the leader of the Progressive Conservative in Ontario is the Mr. March.



Last election, which was this time last year, Mr. Hudak took what was a huge lead going into the election and transformed it into a solid defeat.  He is poised to do the same next time out. 

What brings this to the forefront is a poll just dropped by Global TV that says if the election were held today the Tim Hudak's would form a majority and the Dalton McGuinty's would finish third.  The fly in the ointment is that the election is not going to be held today and when it is held Mr. Hudak will do what his fave football team the Buffalo Bills do when they go to the Super Bowl.  He will lose.  Not certain how he will choke this time but you know he will choke coz that is what chokers do.
