Brennan Clarke in this morning's Globe and Mail has a disturbing story about a man, Jay Phillips', terrible Friday evening experience in Courtney, British Columbia.
Mr. Phillips, who is, by his own description, half Black, half White, was attacked by three White men in Courtney Friday evening, in the light of day nonetheless, who told the B. C. native to go back to where he came from. Uh, you mean here?
Comox Valley RCMP Constable Tammy Douglas said Tuesday three men aged 19, 24 and 25 have been arrested and charged with assault in connection with the attack on Mr. Phillips.
