490...NDP In Bed With Conservatives

Who would have thunk it?

But the Ancaster News' ace reporter Kevin Werner breaks the story that Dipper MP for Hamilton East-Stoney Creek, Wayne Marston and Dipperette MP Chris Charlton, who represents Hamilton Mountain are in love with the way the Tories have doled out the shovel ready infrastructure money to their ridings.

Imagine how much money those ridings would get if they smartened up and voted for a progressive party, the Liberals, that is going to be in power for the next generation.

Imagine.

  1. Your partisan triumphalism is almost as amusing as your lack of familiarity with the historical record.

"Progressive" Liberals, from the mid-1990s on, massively cut spending that could benefit people in their local communities.

As for Stephen Harper's bed partners, Liberals under Dion and now Ignatieff have voted to keep the Conservatives in government nearly 80 times in a row, while ignoring the interests of the unemployed and a range of other groups.

"Creative destruction" was Ignatieff's most recent description of the economic catastrophe that has seen nearly 400,000 Canadians lose their jobs since last fall, in case you missed it.

    Liberals as progressives?

    Spare us.
