Chicken pooh.
Abbotsford, a city in the Fraser Valley just east of Vancouver, has a problem with homeless people. Instead of providing them with a place to live the folks who run that community thought it would be better to drop tons of chicken manure in the area that they, the homeless folks, congregate in their town. The Sunnewsnetwork reports that "The chicken poop ploy was exposed by the online newspaper Abbotsford Today in a column by homeless advocate James Breckenridge, who said the city is ramping up efforts to disperse the camp on Gladys Avenue."
