To return any sh*t you may have stolen from Ottawa's oldest [I guess] and most regal hotel.
The Chateau is in your capital, the next big building east of the Hill. The Fairmont Chateau Laurier is celebrating it's [pick a number] anniversary this year and is asking those of you [not me] to take advantage of their amnesty program and send them any sh*t you have thiefed from the palace over the years.
Allegedly you can even get it back.
They want everything you have taken from matchbooks [qu'est que c'est le matchbook?]to furniture.

ReplyDeleteEvery, hotel, bar, tavern, restaurant etc. used to have books of matches (with the name of their establishment printed on the outside) laying around everywhere for clients use and take-away. It was a given, there is more smokers than non-smokers.
Furniture from the Chateau, not so much, silver coffee pots, well perhaps, but long gone now. :)
