The CFL fan, in fact the only person in the history of the game to bet on the CFL draft, Homer Simpson, has had his job title changed.
He is now working in a coal mine. Least so in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
The Hollywood Reporter says that The Simpsons has been edited for TV in those countries to remove sensitive storylines involving Mr. Simpson's job at a nuclear plant. The current crisis in Japan is what has brought on the change.
TV producers at Germany's Pro7 channel went a step further by checking through new episodes of The Simpsons and removing unsuitable segments featuring trouble at the nuclear power plant, er coal mine, that Mr. Simpson works at.
