Them's my Montreal Canadiens.
The sign of a successful season is if it ends with a parade. After dropping what I believe is their fifth game in a row in this young NHL season it seems that their will be no parade in Montreal, no visit to the White House or 24 Sussex when the season ends.
If the Habs won't come to PM Harper, PM Harper will come to the Habs. In a touching ceremony that I saw with my own eyes before last nights loss to the Ottawa Senators, our beloved leader unveiled high-tech, thin plastic stamps will give the illusion when manipulated of watching moving images of historic goals from the team's history.
Mr. Harper spent much of the game next to his newly appointed Senator and the last coach to win a Stanley Cup in Montreal, Jacques Demers, chewing the fat on RDS.
The lifelong Leaf fan said that last night he was cheering for the Canadiens; bad news for the Prime Minister: both his teams lost last night.

At least the two bitter rivals Toronto and Montreal can share in the pain of our losing teams.
ReplyDeleteKinda reminds you of non-cowboy George Bush clearing brush for photo-ops doesn't it?
