Yoko Kubota, Reuters Tokyo writes in today's Ottawa Citizen that, like here, it is wedding season in Japan, but instead of opting for a small event in tough times, big weddings are in vogue and that couples with small families and limited amounts of friends and coworkers can rent fake family, friends and colleagues to plump up the guest list.
