382...Scott Tribe, Vernor's, Good Taste

Scott Tribe makes the case for Vernor's ginger ale being the finest ginger ale in the world.

Scott Tribe is right.

Wikipedia states that "Vernors is the oldest surviving ginger ale sold in the United States...[dating back to] 1866."

It is primarily available in Detroit, Ohio, Michigan, Chicago, Southern Ontario and Florida but, for example, in Ottawa, Ontario, Farm Boy carries it.

The finest.

  1. I didn't think that my taste in ginger-ale would be worthy of a blogpost (must be a slow Friday or something in Ottawa ;) .. shouldnt be with the O'Brien ruling by the judge).. but yea.. nothing tops Vernors.

  2. Absolutely! Vernors is the best - like nothing else! Vernors is owned by a company out of Plano, TX so I had no doubt that moving to Dallas from Michigan would cause no issues maintaining the supply. Would you believe, you can't get it here??? I think I'll be taking a drive up to Plano this week to find out what the problem is.
