Global sums it up like this: "...he introduced a mandatory minimum sentence bill and the three strikes bill, labelling three-time criminals as dangerous offenders and jailing them indefinitely." Laws like those pander to the Tory base and end up costing the country millions upon millions of dollars.
He will not be missed.
