2728...Ring Tone Fun

Heard a snippet of this story on CBC One this afternoon and with a bit of research got the primary source, that source being Mike Pound from Missouri's Joplin Globe.

Here is the dilly dilly. Mr. Pound, a columnist for the fish wrap and a Jimmy Buffett fan, was invited to the groundbreaking ceremonies for St. Mary’s Catholic Church in February of this year. He brought his new cell phone with him.

Mrs. Pound had programmed one of Mr. Buffett's classic songs as the ringtone on her beloved's phone. At the exact moment that Mr. Pound met Bishop James Johnston Jr., of the Springfield-Cape Girardeau Diocese she happened to call her hubby.

Mr. Pound was shaking hands with Bishop Johnston as the phone rang, singing the classic line:

"Let's Get Drunk And Screw."
