472...You Would Think The Greens Could Do Better

Peter Worthington wrote in all the Sun papers yesterday that Elizabeth May has determined that job one for the Green Party is to elect Elizabeth May.

"Now instead of saving trees and curbing gas emissions, the party's job is to find a riding in Canada where Liz May can win -- not easy, since nature has not made getting elected easy for May, who has an off-putting demeanour to go with her self-confidence."

Note to Greens: you could have picked a better horse to run in that race.

  1. On the plus side, if she gets elected, MPs have a great Dental Plan.

  2. I remember when the Coalition was still a possibility and people were saying if he became Prime Minister that Dion should have appointed May to the Senate.

And all I could say to that was "This woman was so stupid she threw a golden chance to get a legitimately elected Green seat in Parliament away to take on a long serving and popular (in his riding anyway) Cabinet Minister."

Do people really want someone like that being rewarded with a Senate Seat?

Disband the Greens and move the votes to the Liberals where they'll, oh I don't know, actually do some good?
