I am aghast.
I bought some fruit in La Belle at Maxi and before biting into said fruit, a black plum if you must know, I peel of the label.
It is with horror that I note that the label says, in E N G L I S H, "Produce of USA". In E N G L I S H.
D0es Bill 101 mean nothing to these people?
The E N G L I S H was not in smaller text than the French, as God and the Province of Quebec decree, no, there was no French at all.
First they take the fruit and then next thing you know the whole Nation of Quebec will be camped in front of their TV's watching Drew Carey on CBS's Price Is Right.
Would someone please call Gilles Duceppe, leader of the Bloc and whomever is in charge of the PQ this week, pronto. I mean, toute suite.
Thank you.

Who cares about the labeling on fruit. Talk about whining. I have gotten fruit with spanish only labeling. I didn't scream language rights.
ReplyDeleteNo one cares about the labeling of the fruit. The only person who is whining is Dan.

ReplyDelete2. Sarcasm. Google it.
