298...He Is Certainly Acting Prime Ministerial

Mikey I. is set to make an announcement re will there or will there not be a summer election and, as the great Canadian he is, thinking first and foremost about his country, he is offering Prime Minister Stephen Harper an out.

In a story that just came across the wire from Canadian Press, Mr. Ignatieff is reported to have told his caucus that changes to the Employment Insurance system along with more information about stimulus spending and the ballooning deficit and action on the medical isotope shortage are needed before the end of Parliament this Friday.

Sources in the room [I love that, the cleaners? perhaps a water pourer? or the press hack attached to Mr. Ignatieff?] report that Mr. Ignatieff stressed that he doesn't want an election, but added he must hold the government accountable.

He could be Prime Minister this summer, Mikey I., but his country is more important than personal glory.
